So are we ready to get into the news? We're gonna start with the big news that Disney World dropped this week, the 2027 Walt Disney World Vacations are now on sale. Including theme park tickets, hotel rooms, stays and packages through October 31st, 2027. And also to go along with that Disney World has announced changes to their dining plans going into effect next year, including the addition of a third deluxe Disney dining plan. I'll explain that in a minute. Yeah, the former Disney Dining Plan and Disney Quick Service Dining Plan are being renamed, but they're including the same offering. So I'll go over those real quick. So starting next year, 2027, the Quick Service Dining Plan. Formally the Disney Quick Service Dining Plan,

And guests staying at Deluxe Resorts or Deluxe Villa Resorts will continue to enjoy extended evening hours on select days, and Disney has confirmed that their free water park for the hotel guests will be back in the summer of 2027. Magic Kingdom cast members have began riding Big Thunder Mountain ahead of the May 3rd opening, so they are, you know, they always test it with non-human writers, and now, now they are having human writers. So this is getting close. And on the My Disney Experience app, big Thunder Mountain Railroad, has been re-added to the list of lightning lane attractions. It is a tier one as it was before. This is fun. Disney is once again, giving out free lightning lanes for guests who complete a pirate's adventure at Magic Kingdom. Oh,

Beginning in May, 2026, in collaboration with Go Retail Group, Disney pop-up stores will launch for a limited time. The live stream will start at 5:30 PM Eastern on April 20th. I don't think it's gonna be the movie. I think it's just gonna be like the red carpet and the, the Premo stuff. that's all I got for news. oh, whatever. So again, as the other animals in the aquarium, January 15th, 1986 was when they began their home stay there. We have a little bit of bonus info is at the Seas with Nemo and friends in Epcot. Guests can see a wide varieties of sharks and rays like seeing tiger sharks. Black, no sharks and spotted eagle rays. Inside this massive 5.7 million gallon aquarium. Visitors can even get a closer look through special experiences like the scuba diving or snorkeling tours. This habitat that they reside in is designed to mimic a natural reef with spaces for animals to swim, hide, and breed. So just like all the others, you know,

their right. Disney's animal care team trains, sharks and rays to feed in specific spots, making it easier to monitor their health and provide balanced diets. Sharks are fed fish like salmon and mackerel while rays are hand fed. Items like clams and shrimp and the wild sharks and rays include over 1200 species and live in environments ranging from shallow reefs to deep oceans, and some can even survive in fresh water.

dun, dun. As predators, they help maintain ocean health by removing weak or sick animals. However, sharks and rays face serious threats in the wild, including overfishing, habitat loss, pollution, and practices like shark thinning. The Disney Conservation Fund supports efforts to protect these species by promoting awareness, habitat preservation, and sustainable practices. So that's what I have closing out the Disney Animals and next week we'll move on to a different area Okay. Of Epcot.

Yes. Wow. Directors are Hamilton Lusk, Clyde Romy, and Wilford Jackson. The story is by Erdman Pinner, Joe Rinaldi, Ralph Wright, and Don Degrading. Or dog grody or something along that nature. And it produced by Walt Disney and the music was by Oliver Wallace. It's based on the February, 1945 magazine story titled, happy Dan The Cynical Dog by Ward Green and Ward Green. Also wrote the spinoff comic Strip, a scam featuring the young son of the two Disney dogs. From 1955 to 1956, so the storyline is Lady in the Tramp. Follows Lady. A well cared for house dog whose life is disrupted when her owners have a baby and leave her with a strict caretaker. After a series of mishaps, she ends up lost on the streets where she meets tramp. A Carefree, stray and tramp shows lady how to survive outside in the two grow close, sharing adventures and a famous spaghetti dinner. Although their lives are very different, they do fall in love and in the end, tramp risk his life to protect lady's home. He is then accepted. It into our family and they all settle down together. The film blends romance, humor, and adventure while exploring themes of class differences, loyalty and belonging. Several sidekicks here, ladies pals are Jock, who is the loyal protective Scottish terrier. Trustee is the older bloodhound with a great sense of smell, even though part of the movie is depicted of him losing his smell as he. Follows around the caterpillar. Then we have tramps pals. They begin with Peg, who is a streetwise dog from the pound who befriends Lady Bull, who is a tough but friendly bulldog. And Pedro is a nervous but kind Chihuahua lady has some family. Jim Deere and Darlene are her owners, and then of course the new babe that comes into the picture. But I just think it's cute that she refers to them as Jim Deere and Darling, because that's how they refer to

And of course with tramp being astray, there's no family listed. And follow up movies. We have Lady in the Tramp Two. Scamps Adventure is the direct to video sequel, which was released February 27th, 2001. There is also a 2019 live action remake of the 1955 original titled the same. Mm-hmm. So we have not watched either one of those.

B-A-F-T-A award and a 2006 satellite award for best youth DVD. It was largely overlooked by the Oscars. It did win the 1956 David Day Donato Award for best foreign production and was honored by the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress in 2023. So what I mean like it was a little like up and down is they pulled in so much money, but. It really didn't. I don't, I don't know how it didn't win these awards.

So I have a little bit of bonus information to touch on. So this film was also, the first Disney animated film released in widescreen Cscope, which gave it a more cinematic feel compared to earlier movies. The second pointer is the famous spaghetti scene was almost cut out. Oh, wow. But animator Frank Thomas insisted that it would work, and it became one of the most iconic romantic scenes in film history.

Because the last thing you want to do, let's say you're at Magic Kingdom and you're a big Thunder mountain and your kid falls on and scrapes his knee and he needs a bandaid, you know, to for immediately, and now you gotta walk all the way to First Aid. I had to do that in Animal Kingdom. I had to go to the first aid station way across the park.
